CSKA Moscow attacker Ahmed Musa has said that he wants to play for Arsenal sometime in his future. The Nigerian international is highly rated and was brought by the Russian side this summer from VVV-Venlo. The Dutch side does have a considerable reputation in producing young talents.
Musa made his first appearance for the Nigeria senior team at an age of 17! He has been in good form off late scoring three goals in his last four matches for CSKA Moscow. Despite his young age he is a regular starter for the Russian club and someone who does have a big future ahead of him.
Musa, considers Cristiano Ronaldo to be his role model and in an interview to a Nigeria sports site said – “When I am as good as Cristiano Ronaldo and perhaps when I am good enough to play for Arsenal FC of England. It is my dream to play for Arsenal one day. Ronaldo, as far as I am concerned is the best footballer on earth and he is my role model and watching him play inspires me. I fashion my game after Ronaldo. He is my hero.”
Back in 2011, Tottenham Hotspurs showed interest in the youngster and Spurs’ scouts watches over him during his time at VVV-Venlo. The Dutch club also confirmed Tottenham’s interest back then, but nothing substantial materialized. So watched by Spurs but wants to play for Arsenal – this boy does seem to have a good future.
